Pashinski Fights for Health care in Pa.
Pa. State Rep. Eddie Day Pashinski, D-Luzerne, was joined by legislative colleagues from across the state at a Capitol news to address Pennsylvania's looming health-care insurance crisis. Pashinski said the 40000 Pennsylvanians insured under the adultBasic program will lose their coverage if the program's funding source comes to an end or proves to be too expensive to continue. Pashinski said the new administration has made an arrangement with the insurance companies to provide Special Care insurance to enrollees at a significantly higher cost when adultBasic ends.
